I've decided that my new 2012 hobby is going to be baking. I've baked before, of course, but it has basically consisted of the chocolate chip cookie recipe I have memorized and a few cakes here and there. Today I tried rainbow cupcakes, which I'd seen on tumblr before but never tried until now. They were super easy to make, and they're so fun!!! This was just a first try so I didn't expect them to be perfect, but I think they turned out pretty well...

2012

Happy New Year! A new year = a new blog. I haven't blogged consistently since 2009, and I probably won't be able to keep up with this for long, but I'm going to try. I still cannot believe it is 2012. 2012 always seemed so far away, so far into the future, but now here it is. This year is going to be huge for me: I decide where I will go to school next year, I graduate high school, and I head off to college. There's going to be so many changes soon, but I think I'm ready for them. Or, at least, I'm going to try to be ready.
